About NSRC Diliman

The National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC) was established through Republic Act 9163 or the National Service Training Program (NSTP) Act of 2001.

It is an organization mandated by law to provide a trained, motivated, and organized manpower reserve for disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) efforts, civic welfare, literacy, environmental protection, and other similar endeavors.

Facing a global health crisis and embarking on the new normal, volunteer opportunities have to go digital. The creation of a centralized portal has been geared to serve as an avenue for stakeholders (particularly UP students) to find volunteer and fundraising opportunities, connect with the multi-sectoral communities, and address the lack of awareness on civic engagement activities available at the University.
